Journal entry:
I find it very strange in how life works. Being the webmaster for the 3rd Iowa Cavalry, I have had quite a few email communications between Jeffery and myself over the years that the website started in the year of 1998. Jason had contacted my captain in our reenacting group to do something for Jeff. At the time I still had no idea who this man was. In standing at ease to do a salute I heard the name Jeffery Brown. Oh my God it hit me like a brick wall as to who this is. Jeffery was quite the man in knowledge of the Civil War and the 3rd Iowa Cavalry. People who knew him and myself will miss him. The 3rd Iowa Cavalry Re-enactors Inc., want to express our heart-felt sorrow of the loss of Jeffery and may God's healing power be bestowed on to his family and friends.
